Senior High School Curriculum
Grade 11 – Grade 12 — PSS offers four Academic Track strands under the K–12 Senior High School program.
Senior High School Strands
Choose the strand that best matches your passion and future path. All strands follow the DepEd K–12 curriculum and qualify graduates for university admission.
Designed for future scientists, engineers, doctors, and technologists. STEM develops rigorous analytical and problem-solving skills through advanced courses in pre-calculus, chemistry, physics, and research.
Prepares students for careers in business, finance, and entrepreneurship. ABM covers principles of marketing, business mathematics, applied economics, and fundamentals of accounting and financial management.
Ideal for future lawyers, educators, journalists, and social workers. HUMSS develops strong communication, critical analysis, and research skills through literature, politics, philosophy, and social sciences.
A flexible strand for students who are still exploring their career path or plan to pursue degrees not covered by the other strands. GAS provides a broad academic foundation across multiple disciplines.
Understanding the Grading System
PSS follows DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015 — the standards- and competency-based grading system used across the K to 12 Basic Education Program. Detailed Senior High School grading guides are being prepared and will be available here soon.
